* Babies when crawling, often manage to land up with bumps, bruises and scratches. If mothers do not watch their little ones explore the home, imagine what their bodies, especially their little faces would look like.

* It is essential to take your baby to your registered pediatrician for regular checkups and make sure that he receives all the inoculations he needs to get.

* It will not hurt you to look after your health simultaneously, as your baby can so easily catch a cold or flu from you. If that ever occurs, please do not hesitate to get your baby an immediate appointment at his pediatrician.

* Should you ever feel uncomfortable with any information your pediatrician may offer you; listen to your gut feeling and obtain a second opinion from an alternate pediatrician.

It will always be in your best interest and that of your child to take the advice of your pediatrician and not lend your ears out to stories your friends have heard about, or even more so, old wives tales. Very often your parents mean well by advising some medication which is a home remedy. I would definitely not opt for that, but rather seek professional advice when your baby is in need of any medical attention, whether it is something minor or otherwise, major. And as far as love goes, mothers certainly seem to know how to cover that aspect. It is an essence which stems naturally from the heart towards your baby.
